Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”

Seek Him
Calvary Youth is all about connecting—with each other and with God. We spend our time learning who Jesus is, growing in our faith, and building friendships that actually last. This isn't just a club; it’s a space where your voice matters and your questions are always welcome. Come join the crew this week and find your place at Calvary!

Read the Word
Let's be real: opening the Bible can feel like trying to read a textbook written in another language. Between the ancient names and the complicated laws, it’s easy to feel like it’s just too much. But here’s the secret: the Bible isn't a book you're supposed to "finish"—it’s a place where you go to meet someone.
When we take the time to break down the tough parts and figure out what the lessons actually mean for our lives today, something shifts. It stops being a chore and starts being a guide. Every story, even the confusing ones, helps us understand who Jesus is and how much God loves us. It’s in the "struggle" to understand that we actually build a real relationship with Him. As we unpack these truths together, you’ll find that your faith doesn't just grow—it becomes a solid foundation you can actually lean on.

Friendship
Looking for a place where you actually fit in? Calvary Youth is more than just a get together—it’s where you’ll find your "fam." Through awesome hangouts, interesting conversations, and shared experiences, you’ll have the chance to meet new people who are walking the same path you are. These aren't just surface-level friendships, though; we’re focused on building bonds and trust rooted in our faith in Jesus. Whether we’re laughing through a game or talking through life's big moments, we’re growing closer to God and to each other, creating a circle of friends that truly has your back.
Meet the Youth Leader
Jeremy Stanislav
For Jeremy, faith isn’t just a Sunday morning routine—it’s a lifelong pursuit of truth and a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. As our Youth Leader, Jeremy loves nothing more than sharing what he’s learned (and the hurdles he’s cleared) to help others spark that same fire for God.
Life has taken Jeremy from the football field—where he was part of the 1996 National Championship Nebraska Cornhuskers—to the world of nonprofit work. He’s the founder of Pink Bandana, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young women battling breast cancer. Professionally, he brings years of leadership experience to his role at Grainger, but his heart is firmly rooted in his hometown of Prague, NE, where he moved back in 2018.
Jeremy is a devoted family man, sharing his life with his wife, their young daughter, and Oscar the dog.
"God has done amazing things in my life," Jeremy says. "I feel the Holy Spirit pushing me to be open about my faith and even my failures, hoping it encourages someone else to seek Jesus just as hard."
